Sylvia likes to claim that this abysmal example of a cold reading was a set up because the audience to quote her - "And they were all German, and they couldn't understand one word I said. And that was a setup, as you well know."
If you watch the You Tube video you can clearly see that only one respondent was German and he seemed to speak and understand English.

Her true believers like to use this as an example of how poorly Sylvia gets treated by the media. It makes one wonder if any of them have actually seen this or if they prefer to take Sylvia's word on the subject.
