Have any of you seen this film? Several of my New-Ager friends saw it the other day, and are absolutely raving about it.
Sounds like it may be just more newage (“rhymes with sewage“) nonsense to me.

Re: What the Bleep do we know?
Mon, November 15, 2004 - 2:36 PMI saw it, it was good, just ignore the Ramtha bits (there's only a few anyway). It's not too new-agey, the science is accurate, and it has some good visuals. There's a tribe specifically for What the Bleep as well:

Also, I highly recommend watching The Elegant Universe, which is strictly a science program about the same concepts addressed in What the Bleep (string theory, relativity, quantum mechanics, etc.). You can watch the whole thing online for free on the PBS website:

Thu, May 5, 2005 - 8:43 PMhere is an even more compelling rebuttal to the film which includes a quote from a scientist who was misrepresented in it.

What's worse is that it is being compared to all science films... and it's science ranks next to Volcano and the Core. Ouch.
"Designed to resemble a documentary, this film works hard to convince us that quantum physics tells us we can change reality by our thoughts alone. This is good news for lead character Amanda (Marlee Matlin), but sadly, it’s not what quantum physicists say. Even one of the talking heads in this film was dismayed by how his comments were misconstrued. Of course, that hasn’t stopped it from becoming a New Age classic."
